Long Residency Concessions
Ten Year Long Residency Concession
An application under the 10 Year Long Residency Concession may be considered providing the applicant has remained in the UK legally for at least 10 continuous years. A successful application will usually result in the applicant being granted Indefinite Leave to Remain.
In order for applications of this nature to be effectively submitted to the Home Office, our consultants will need to collate substantial evidence that will prove your respective periods in the UK. To rely upon the history reflected in your passport with regard to your time in the UK is not enough. Our consultants will be most happy to discuss the necessary documentation which they will require from you, in order to generate a case.
Fourteen year long residency concessions
An application under the 14 Year Long Residency Concession may be considered providing the applicant has remained in the UK continuously for a period of fourteen years. However, the clock stops running when a notice of decision has been issued or a notice of enforcement.
Applicants should seek advice as there is no guarantee that a concession will be considered.
